(CHICAGO) Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP announced today that partners Andrew Klevorn and Michael Diver and Katten Chairman Vincent A.F. Sergi were named BTI Client Service All-Stars, an honor that is conferred as a result of corporate counsel submitting unprompted feedback regarding individuals who demonstrate exceptional client service.

Klevorn, an experienced antitrust and commercial trial lawyer, was recognized this year by a global consumer goods company. His practice focuses on complex litigation, including the defense of class actions (such as claims of price-fixing or consumer fraud), False Claims Act cases, breach of contract matters and product liability/mass torts. He also advises clients with respect to the antitrust aspects of proposed mergers and acquisitions, and assists clients seeking antitrust clearance for such proposed transactions from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and state attorneys general. Klevorn’s work has involved a variety of industries, including consumer products, construction materials, chemicals, shipping, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, paper, industrial gases and steel.  

Diver, who is the head of Katten’s Chicago Securities and Enforcement Litigation practice, was recognized by a high-profile financial services firm. He represents public companies, financial services firms and other regulated entities, as well as their individual officers and directors, in matters before the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory bodies. A former branch chief in the Division of Enforcement of the SEC’s Chicago Regional Office, Diver’s experience covers virtually all areas of capital markets regulatory enforcement, including matters related to the credit crisis, securitization and other structured products transactions, investment adviser and hedge fund activities, broker-dealer regulation, insider trading, and disclosure and financial fraud.

Katten’s Chairman, Sergi, was recognized this year by a Fortune 500 financial services provider. As Chairman, Sergi drives the strategic direction and growth of the firm. He was elected national managing partner in 1995 and has been an integral part of shaping Katten into the firm it is today which has nearly doubled in size since he took the helm, and grown internationally in Europe and Asia. A member of Katten’s first associate class, Sergi previously served as chair of the Commercial Finance group, focusing his practice on counseling lenders in all types of financing transactions.
